Sat squarely in the middle of the mid-range Samsung Galaxy A series is the A40. This low priced and high-featured handset offers a lot of the functionality of its more costly stablemates in the A series as well as the top of the range S series.
With a 5.9-inch super AMOLED infinity screen, it has a ‘U’ shaped cut-out in the top centre for the front facing 25-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera is a dual lens setup with a 16-megapixel main camera supported by 5-megapixel wide angle lens. This allows for 19 different camera modes and supports Full HD video at 30fps. With 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, there is also the capability to add up to 512GB more with a microSD card. It packs a 3,100mAh battery, which should last most users all day. The A40 is available in 4 colours: black, white, blue and coral.
